AI agent tab groups: one colour per agent
Chrome tab groups are a good fit for agents. Beacon gives each agent its own colour-coded group, so you can see at a glance which tabs belong to which agent.
How it works
- A new agent gets a lane, which is a tab group with its own colour.
- Tabs the agent opens join its group as they open.
- When the job is done, the agent closes the tabs it opened and removes its group.
- Your own tabs stay where they are.
More than a label
The group is also the boundary. An agent can only act inside its own group, and a request aimed at another lane's tab, or yours, is refused with WRONG_LANE.
